It seems I am easily influenced by certain characteristics of my environment; and i know you may think, well duh, who isnt? but often i read a book or an article or a speech and my views are swept along with the idea of the piece…i used to think that this meant my beliefs were weak but ive learned that it simply means that they aren't weak but rather not rigid, which though the two are similar, they are very different….i think it's very beneficial to not have beliefs that are cast in bronze and molded into statues that are set in my court yards, instead they should be, in my opinion anyway, flexible and constructed with the understanding that not only do i know relatively nothing, but my tools for knowing are equally as flawed….

for example (about my swinging beliefs): i went through a period of believing i was going to die anyday, that i do not exist, that you don't exist, i became a political moderate/borderline liberal conservative, and so on…

but in the end, i realized that the changes in my thinking weren't nessicarily wrong, but rather a deviation from my true core…and as long as i maintain my true core, (or atleast what i think it is at this time), i will be ok…
